DESCRIPTION:Special Event: BAA Art-Making Workshop (Free)!\nRefresh your skills or learn some new techniques…\nThe Belmont Art Association (BAA)\, in partnership with the Belmont Gallery of Art (BGA)\, presents a series of four special summer art-making events on Thursday evenings. All workshops take place 7-9pm at the Belmont Gallery of Art.  \nThurs.\, July 20: SIMPLIFIED ANATOMY\nDrawing the Human Figure from Imagination and Life – led by Damon Lehrer. Lehrer has taught at RISD\, Boston University\, Art Institute of Boston\, Mass College of Art\, and Montserrat College of Art. Founder of Boston Figurative Art Center\, Somerville. \nArt supplies will be provided for workshop attendees. Some events will feature brief talks by participating BAA artists about their individual art-making techniques and influences. Refreshments will be served. Free admission.
