Brookline Open Studios

Open Studios is an annual springtime event, held in locations all over Brookline, since 1986. Artists working in all media participate by opening their homes and studios to the public for one weekend. This allows viewers to experience the dynamic impact of viewing original artworks within the artist's creative space. The public connection to the artist nurtures an understanding of the creative process. Much of the artwork is for sale, providing an incredible chance for collectors and the general public to acquire original pieces directly from the artist.

Lexington Open Studios 2017

Visit 70+ artists throughout Lexington at in-home studios, Lexington Arts and Crafts Society and Munroe Center for the Arts. Lexington is very fortunate to have a growing, changing and thriving arts community. Sometimes this is invisible. Artists often work quietly and may not show or sell their work in places near you. The Lexington Open Studios offers the public a rare opportunity to venture into some of these otherwise hidden creative places! There are many artists working behind their closed doors, inside basements, attics, attached studios, studios in community arts buildings, who are creating wonderful and unique art. So enjoy this exciting weekend.
