Cushing Sq. Art, Wine, and Food – Sept. 2014

Several shops in Cushing Square collaborate to put on this monthly cultural event.
UnCommon Finds” presents the Belmont Art Association artist, Sophia Mone who will be exhibiting her oil paintings and monoprints Sept 6-Oct 5th. Mone’s work explores many aspects of the curve particularly with abstracted figures, landscapes and recently a DNA double helix. Her color palette is southwestern although her printmaking background reconnects her with black and white imagery. The reception will take place on Friday, September 12 from 6-8pm in conjunction with “The Spirited Gourmet” wine tasting from 5-8pm. A coupon for dessert (with 2 entrees purchased) at “Savino’s Grill” will be available at reception, (valid for that evening).
