DESCRIPTION:The monthly Dinner\, Art\, + Music night at Miranda’s Hearth continues on November 9 with the release of Emily Worden‘s new book Make. Sell. Repeat\, The Ultimate Business Guide for Artists\, Crafters\, and Makers. \nEmily will be giving an interactive workshop about what it takes to start a business including examples from her own story. After the workshop\, you’ll have a chance to see some of her custom bags while enjoying our customary potluck and jam session. \nMiranda Aisling Haynes\, who wrote the book\, Don’t Make Art\, Just Make Something\, hosts this event.\nTickets are $7 or $20 for entrance and a copy of the book. \nIf you can’t make this month\, put December 14’s Ugly Sweater Party on your calendar or look into the 2015 events\, we get together every Second Sunday from 6:00-9:00

DESCRIPTION:On the Wings of Imagination\nStorytelling and Collage-making to promote Well Being with BAA member\, Carol Wintle.\nIn this workshop\, improvisational storyteller\, mixed media artist\, author and psychotherapist Carol will guide participants in experiencing the arts of improvisational storytelling and collage-making. Individuals will learn a process they can use for themselves and others – to easily access their inner wise women or men – and improve wellness. \nMini collages are used as visual story prompts to co-create original healing folktales.
