"Surfaces" is a unique exhibit of 111 surface paintings done by BAA member, Richard Hill. “This exhibit takes its title from a less-than-profound observation. We cannot see through, beyond or beneath the surface of things. Hence, in the visible world, home to the visual arts, everything is superficial." — Richard Hill
A new art installation, “Living with Sculpture,” greets visitors at Boston Design Center and The Innovation and Design Building. BAA member, John Norton, will exhibit his work at the North Haven Gallery in Maine for 1 week in July. There is ferry service to the island from from Rockland on the mainland.

Join hundreds of area residents and art enthusiasts at this year's Open Studios weekend. Together with Lincoln Studios, WMAA will open its doors to the public for this free, annual event where visitors are invited to walk through more than 80 artists' studios, meet the artists, and view and buy their work.
WMAA is one of Greater Boston's oldest artists' communities, with more than 70 artists working in a wide range of media, including sculpture, glass, printmaking, painting, textiles, photography, woodworking, film, video and much more. Lincoln Studios, a newer artists' community that occupies the old Jordan's furniture building at 289 Moody Street, houses more than a dozen artists and the Lincoln Arts Project gallery space.
