SUMMARY:Cushing Sq. Art\, Wine\, and Food - Oct. 2014
DESCRIPTION:Several shops in Cushing Square collaborate to put on this monthly cultural event. \nUnCommon Finds presents two Belmont Art Association artists\, Kay Hudgins and Christine Chang\, Oct 6 – Nov 6. Hudgins will be exhibiting her beautiful semi-abstract landscapes\, painted in oil with vigorous brushwork and bold use of color. Chang will be showing her Paris Bird Market series of paintings framed in cages. \nThe reception will take place on Friday\, October 17 from 6-8pm in conjunction with “The Spirited Gourmet” wine tasting from 5-8pm (Stephen Chevalier of “Ideal Wine and Spirits” presenting French and Italian wines)  A coupon for dessert (with 2 entrees purchased) at “Savino’s Grill” will be available at reception\, (valid for that evening). \n“Savino’s Grill” Artist of October is Belmont Art Association member\, Ian Todreas\, who is exhibiting a watercolor series of Tuscany. \nunCommon Finds: 432 Common Street\, Belmont\nSpirited Gourmet: 448 Common Street\, Belmont\nSavinos Grill: 449 Common Street\, Belmont

DESCRIPTION:Exhibit Planning\nOur October and November meetings will be on WEDNESDAYS (due to conflict at Library). \nBring a snack to share if you can. Our exhibit at the BGA is still up in the air\, but there are other exhibition venues and we should discuss ideas for a theme for our next exhibit. Sorry the last meeting/party was cut short and we didn’t get a chance to discuss. That will be the topic for this meeting.
