Stories That Shaped Lives
“SHARED STORIES,” the current show at the Belmont Gallery of Art, presents 64 pieces of work created by 41 artists. Through photography, mosaics, painting, fiber art, sketching, collage, decoupage, and assemblage, these artists share the tales, histories, and mythologies that have shaped their lives. Visitors will see portraits, self-portraits, autobiographical scenes, folktales, myths, a multistory diorama, landscapes, and abstract art.
