ARTIST STATEMENT
Our lives are often lived at a hectic pace, too fast for us to pay attention to the world around us. My images are an invitation to slow down, take heed, and recognize the beauty and natural wonders that are right before us. They are a way to explore the relationship between the parts that make up the whole and the transitions constantly in play, enticing the viewer to look more closely and recognize nature’s infinite variety and timeless powers of regeneration.
Perhaps with greater awareness will come increased appreciation for our natural surroundings and a greater desire to preserve and protect.
