Martha Chiarchiaro is back for another invigorating art exploration. This time, in line with our summer reading theme, we’ll be going beyond the beaten path! Landscape painting was the first uniquely American art. We’ll explore Hudson River School artists, Luminist paintings reflecting the coast of New England, and landscapes from Winslow Homer, George Bellows, and Georgia O’Keeffe that illustrate the expressiveness of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
