MEMBERS LIBRARY EXHIBIT
CALL for ARTISTS:
WHO: Paid members of the BAA as of March 1, 2015
WHAT: ONE SHOW in THREE parts – one month each.
WHEN: May, June, July 2015
WHERE: Belmont Public Library, 336 Concord Ave, Belmont, MA
WHY: BECAUSE WE’RE AWSOME!!!

Number of Entries: up to THREE works. ONE WORK PER ARTIST WILL BE SELECTED by the BAA committee, who also reserves the right to reject work that it deems inappropriate.
Size: There are two areas of display.
– Front hallway: The display area is above the video shelves. These works can be no larger than 18” high, including frame.
– Green reading room: The display area is between windows. These works can be no larger than 28” x 32”, including frame.
Setup: All artwork submitted should be 2D or shallow 3D (less than 3” deep) and must be able to be hung from standard picture hooks. All works must be suitably finished and have sturdy wire across the back (NO sawtooth hangers or single loops).
Sales: Prices and artists contact information will be displayed. Any interested buyer will contact artist directly. Works must stay displayed for the length of the exhibit. Any sold works can only be delivered after the close of that part of the show. No commission charged.
Volunteering: There are opportunities to volunteer to help mount or dismount the 3 shows. This will count towards your membership volunteering time.
Fees: For this first member show, there will be no fee.
Delivery & Pick up of work: All pieces must be delivered and picked up from the library during designated hours (TBA). If you cannot make these hours, you should make arrangements to have someone else pick up for you.
Each piece delivered must have a completed label attached to the back. Label form will be included with acceptance letter.
Liability: The library, its volunteers, the Town of Belmont, its employees or volunteers accept no liability for damage incurred while the works are in custody of the library.
By submitting work, the artist accepts these conditions, and also gives permission for images to be used for publicity.
